Youth for Christ:
Prayer Items: 1. Thank God for the funds we got to complete Freddy’s family house. 2. Thank God for 8 young leaders + Freddy who managed to fly to Johannesburg to attending a YFC international conference. 3. Thank God for the new good staff for future hope school there at Gitega 4. Praise God for two young men (Bosco and Blaise) now studying in England; and Alice who is now in Charleston- SC- USA for training.
Please pray for: A. For an amount of US$800 per month total for salaries for the new teachers and principal working hard to educate our kids there at Gitega.
B. Please pray God to use our Christian president and his ministers to fight against corruption which is one of the biggest problems in our country right now; they had a retreat last week discussing about this issue.
C. We keep praying God to provide US$25000 so that we may build another orphanage home so that we may bring in more children as we have so many on waiting list; the foundation alone would cost us around $6000.
New Generation:
Please pray for:
1. For full school materials include uniforms and school fees for our children 2. For the reparation of our bus in order to reimburse the credit and also to continue to take care the needs of our kids 3. For the building of our village in order to find all the funds so that we wouldn’t miss our land that the local administration gave to us freely. However we would like to thank CHARLOTTE and her friends who are doing the fundraising for this project. 4. For the equipping of our Christian Center. We need to have a full material for our bibliotheca and videotape. Our aim for this center is to give a best quality in leadership training, computerizing, music and English course. 5. For a car for New Generation, we don’t have a car for our organisation. We have to pay rent for a car every time we have to go upcountry or for administration transport ; 6. For the wife of the founder of New Generation who is going to give a birth to their third child this coming week.
APRID:
Please pray for:
1. We prayer that god may help all that heard the truth and the crusades to come to know Jesus and be saved.
2. Pray also for those who are in hesitation to decide to receive Jesus.
3. That God will provide help APRID so that we get financial support for many crusades to reach Muslims for the truth of the gospel.
4. Pray for the Muslims of Burundi and Great Lakes region in general because many people embraced that religion by ignorance or because of poverty.
5. Pray for sound system so that we can reinforce those we have for the crusades.

Harvest for Christ (Onesphore):
Please pray for:
1. All the members of teams which participated in the National Harvest Campaign, will meet on 1st of September for thinking together how we can improve for future events. 2. The Anglican Church of Kinindo asked us to organise a kind of small campaign in Kinindo. We spent 4 days, doing outreach in streets and houses of Kinindo and preaching in the afternoon in a big open conference at Kinindo. Give thanks for the success of this event and the anointing upon the evangelist, and for the 286 people who were saved. 3. In partnership with Burundi Assemblies of God Fellowship , we organised
an outreach for one week in slums and town of Gitega. Pray for the people of Gitega to open their hearts to the Good News , and give thanks
for the 33 who gave their lives to Christ in Gatumba. 4. All 200 members ( in 17 clubs ) who followed a course on Hermeneutics.
They all passed their exams. 5. Contacts will be done for starting a Club at Bubanza . This will be the third club planted this year after Muyinga and Cankuzo. 6. Two workshops on peace will be organised. One for students at Bujumbura and an other one for pastors in Mbuye Commune . 7. Our Center at Muramvya will start it's activities . In this Month, 40 families ( 30 batwa, 10 bahutu and 10 batutsi) will be identified. One workshop will be organised for them in order to know what are their dreams for development. 10 young people ( batwa ) will be identified for learning a job (maconerie ). |
