About GLO

Great Lakes Outreach (GLO) is a charity that works for the spiritual and physical development of the people of Burundi, located in the Great Lakes region of Central Africa. We partner with local Christian organisations to share God’s message and to fund sustainable projects that transform lives.

 

We help overcome humanitarian challenges and suffering by connecting groups of people together, facilitating change and enabling communities to become self-sufficient.

 

GLO was founded in 2003 by Simon Guillebaud in response to the massive needs of the country. Simon recognised the potential of strategic co-operation with local partners and has worked in Burundi since 1998.

 

GLO has supporters across the world providing prayer and financial backing. Contributions are distributed directly to GLO’s partners in Burundi.
