What GLO Does

GLO reaches out to the marginalised and desperately needy in whatever humanitarian or spiritual way appropriate.

We seek to help overcome the post-war trauma, providing a voice for the voiceless, breaking the cycle of violence and retribution, and embracing peace, hope and love.

GLO partners with local Christian organisations to share God’s message and to fund sustainable projects that transform lives. We are involved in:

Spreading the Word of God through schools and churches countrywide
Fighting the AIDS pandemic through education
Providing for street children and orphans
Establishing sustainable projects in communities
Financing where there are no other sources available and ensuring funds are used appropriately
Equipping and encouraging informed dialogue between Christians and other faiths in a loving and non-confrontational way
Training in outreach and leadership development

Our key partners are Scripture Union Burundi (SU), New Generation (NU) , Youth for Christ (YfC), Harvest for Christ (HfC), Evangelism Explosion (EE), Union Des Groupes Bibliques Au Burundi (UGBB) and L’Association pour la Promotion des Relations Interconfessionelles et du Developpement (APRID).
