Wedding dresses

Over the past five years, GLO has gathered over 50 wedding dresses and now supports a wedding dress rental service in Burundi.

 

As it is difficult for many people in Burundi to afford their own wedding dress (veil and gloves) people are keen to hire.

 

Funds generated are redirected into GLO's projects across Burundi.

 

Note: Small sizes and only totally white dresses (not ivory ones) are best as Burundian women are much thinner than western women in general and their black skin looks best with pristine white.
