Lake Tanganyika has risen by twelve feet, displacing 230,000 people, many of whom are utterly destitute. Food prices have risen by about 40% over the past year and there continues to be a shortages of fuel, with people queuing hours, or even days to fill up.
Our partners are under such intense pressure, and yet are doing stunning work despite the challenges. But they’re struggling to feed their own families, let alone help others.
We want to increase their support allowances so their staff (and their families) can continue to be provided for, and their ministries can continue to thrive in this, the most difficult of seasons.
Could you help by pledging £20/month (or any smaller or bigger sum)?
