It all started in 2008 when Cédrick decided to live on the streets due to his tough and unhappy family conditions.
In June 2019, he came in contact with GLO Partner, New Generation. He participated in the activities organized, appreciated the moral talk sessions which emphasised positive values, how to help one another and how to behave well in society.
Cédrick shares; “I enjoy the prayer sessions that took place every morning. I also enjoy playing football and watching cartoons and movies.”
He learnt how to invest and save money and acknowledged the importance of discovering your purpose in life and working towards achieving your dreams. Cédrick is now 17 years old and wishes to have his own restaurant so he can support his mother financially.
New Generation would like to work on a reintegration project to help kids like Cédrick.
For those who can’t be reintegrated into their families, we are planning a brand new centre which will allow us to empower street-connected children and young adults to reach their full potential through back-to-school initiatives, reintegration support, skills development and leadership training.
