Donatien Nibogora is the Founder of RAJEDES. He was raised in a solid family in the capital, but his was only a nominal faith. From 2007, he joined GLO partner Harvest Initiatives as a member, and it was there that his faith became real and that he engaged in an intentional discipleship process which equipped him to dream big and not only assume leadership roles within his local church, but also step out and start his own organisation. Donatien and his team at RAJEDES are making a profound impact on some of the poorest communities in Burundi.
RAJEDES stands for ‘Rassemblement des jeunes pour le dévelopment socio-économiques.’ which translates as ‘Gathering young people for socio-economic development’.
